A Letter From Our Founder & CEO

Consistently throughout my life, I would find myself in the hospital fighting severe unexplained illnesses, being misdiagnosed by doctors every time. When I was 27 years old, I got so sick that I knew this wasn’t just another freak sickness like the doctors always made it out to be in the past. This time, I decided to seek out the best doctors in the country, and after about 3 months of tests, I was diagnosed with Lupus. I was devastated, but it explained everything!

The doctor gave me medication and told me I had to stop working and move in with a family member to take care of me because I needed at least 12+ hours of sleep everyday just to function; keep in mind at the time I had a wife and two young children at home that relied on me. Oh yeah, I was also running two businesses as well.

I wasn’t going to give up on my family and my dreams to what the doctors told me was a debilitating disease. I took the medication and pushed myself every day to continue working hard for my family and to achieve my goals until I got a terrible side effect from the medication. I lost my short-term memory. I couldn’t remember anything from minute to minute to the point I had to keep a notebook and pen in my pocket to write down my thoughts; this made it impossible for me to run my businesses, so I immediately stopped taking the medication. I was so sick; I really thought I was going to die at this point in my life to where I was making plans so my family could be taken care of if the worst was to happen.

My amazing wife and children continued to inspire me to keep fighting to find a way to win this battle!

After spending weeks doing research on Lupus, autoimmune diseases, and the direct relationship between nutrition and our health; I found a woman who previously had Lupus and completely beat it through an extensive detox, extremely clean organic diet, intermittent fasting, and exercise. I implemented this same plan, and it saved my life!

6 months later, I was completely healed! I beat Lupus!

This is when I realized our lifestyle and what we eat has a direct effect on our health and well-being.

From this point nonstop, I continued educating myself on nutrition, the corrupt food system, the effects that all the dangerous additives, chemicals, and gmo’s in our food’s have on our health.

During this time of my life, I had some amazing experiences doing charitable work helping others in need, and I found these times to be the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences for me; it was then I realized my life’s purpose is to make an impact helping others in need.

18 years later, I am healthy as ever still no signs of Lupus, and I almost never get sick!

For years I wanted to share the amazing lifestyle that have helped me obtain optimal health. My family and I founded Arete with our sole purpose to bring the cleanest products to one place that people can feel comfortable they are always getting the highest quality! While helping others along the way!
