Like most experienced THCa Flower connoisseurs, we gravitate towards premium flower products. The world-class, top-shelf stuff. That's our best-in-class Luxury Collection.
On the other hand, we also have customers who prefer more bud bang for their buck. Given our mission, we want to be inclusive and therefore have our Budget Collection for price-conscious customers.
The criteria we use to evaluate and rate each flower we sell are based on frost, appearance, smell, structure, and so on. The best THCa flower goes into our Luxury Collection. Anything else - while still quite good, just not flawless - goes to the Budget Collection.
Note: THCa content, as seen in the lab reports, is similar between the two Collections, although in general Budget is usually slightly lower.
To sum it up, our Luxury Collection and our Budget Collect deliver different overall experiences. That difference is reflected in the category and price of the product.
THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in raw and live cannabis plants. Unlike THC, THCa does not produce a high but has potential therapeutic benefits, such as anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. When heated through smoking or cooking, THCa converts to THC, the psychoactive compound.

As a matter of fact, we do have a separate business for B2B bulk sales of THCa products at wholesale prices. If you're interested please see our THCa Wholesale page for more info and how to apply.
In the USA, THCa's legality depends on whether it is derived from marijuana or hemp. THCa from hemp with less than 0.3% THC on a dry weight basis is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. On the other hand, THCa from marijuana is illegal federally and regulated by state laws. Local and state regulations can vary, so it's essential to check specific laws in your area.
Arete only sells products that comply with the 2018 Farm Bill's specification of "containing less than 0.3% THC on a dry weight basis".
